Giving Back

One of Centro’s core principles is idealism. We believe we can make the world a better place and we have the ability and responsibility to change it for the better.

The Giving Tree, Centro’s cross-departmental committee, supports nonprofit organizations through monetary donations and volunteer work. Centro has donated a percentage of their earnings to charities selected by employees like House of Ruth, Children for Children and the Boys and Girls Clubs of America. Centro volunteers also lend a helping hand to organizations focused on the health and well-being of local communities and individuals. Habitat for Humanity, Off the Street Club, PAWS and the Mercy Home for Boys and Girls After Care Program are just a few of the organizations Centro has assisted.

Habitat for Humanity Day

Each year, Centro teams across the country help build houses for Habitat for Humanity.

Keepin’ it Green

Centrons worked with Alliance for the Great Lakes to conduct litter removal and monitor water quality testing in Chicago’s shorelines. Information gathered at the beach cleanup was inputted into the organization’s online database for prevention and educational purposes.

Off the Street Club Fundraiser

The Giving Tree organized an event to raise money to send a child with incredible potential to a top-tier boarding school in Chicago so he has the greatest chance at achieving his dreams.

Director of Development
House of Ruth

Centro truly lived up to its mission by letting their employees design and direct the charity selection process. Their gift was really special to House of Ruth and it made a major impact, enriching the lives of hundreds of women and children who were homeless and abused.
