Black History Month Campaign
Campaign Objectives: The American Family Insurance brand is about working together to give customers a different kind of insurance experience that is simple, clear and straightforward. This experience reflects the proud heritage, family values and caring culture of American Family Insurance.
In 2009, they expanded into the Atlanta market and sought to connect with local audiences in their natural environments. American Family Insurance wanted to create a big splash with high visibility sponsorships and multi-channel marketing approaches.
Centro Solution: Mindshare and Centro teamed up with local partner MyFoxAtlanta.com to create a sponsorship program around Black History Month. This package included on-air promotional spots and co-branded banners driving viewers directly to the Black History month page, sponsored by American Family Insurance. Creative ads included pre-roll and fixed units that connected American Family Insurance's brand and culture to this month of heritage.
