Publisher Spotlight: Bill Gilson from WRAL

A huge thank you is in order for this wonderful publisher, Bill Gilson of WRAL!

Bill is the recipient of Centro’s Publisher Spotlight award, with a unanimous vote by the Centro Account Management and Campaign Operations teams. Bill has worked with Centro for several years and is hands down one of the favorite publisher relationships we have. Bill is always willing to explore new ideas and opportunities for our clients. He has exceptional character, shows true dedication to his job and always does it with a smile. For these reasons (and many more), we congratulate this month’s Publisher Spotlight award recipient, Bill Gilson! Thank you for all you do and for being so great to work with!

We asked Bill to share a few fun facts about himself so you could get to know him a little better:

Centro: What is something that would surprise us about you?

Bill: This one’s tough, but the thing that might surprise people the most about me is that I have long wanted to learn how to play the piano and speak German.  Although the two are not related, they are both very much out of character for me.  I have no musical aptitude and am terrible when it comes to learning foreign languages, but these are just two secret desires I have had for a long time.

Centro: What do you like to do in your spare time?

Bill: I spend most of my spare time trying to stay active.  I play tennis 4-5 times a week, try to run at least 3 times a week and usually spend a couple of hours riding my bike on the weekends.

Centro: What was your favorite TV show growing up?

Bill: Man, I think I will age myself badly by answering this one, but my favorite TV show growing up was probably “All in the Family.”  It was quite edgy and ahead of its time all those years ago when I was a youngster.
